Meet the Board

President
Harley Myers
Harley’s initiation to the world of Forensic Nursing began when she worked as a Gynecological Teaching Assistant (GTA) with the Colorado SANE/SAFE clinical skills lab in 2016. From there, Harley knew she found her niche. She graduated nursing school and completed her Capstone with the Forensic Nurse Examiner team at UCHealth Memorial Central in 2018. Due to out-of-state moves, Harley did not hire onto the team until several years later. Harley’s role with the team would eventually come full-circle as she now teaches for the clinical skill labs where she used to be a GTA. Harley is scheduled to sit for the SANE-A and SANE-P exams in April 2025, and serves in the role of President for the Colorado chapter of the IAFN. Harley’s previous nursing experience includes various acute-care units, community health, and case management.
When not nursing, Harley is likely coercing her boyfriend Mike to come to a yoga class, serving as a snack dealer to her two sons Roman and Soren, or cleaning up endless fur from her Great Dane Daisy-Mae and three cats Duchess, Harrison, and Floki.
